Welcome to NO-DEAL.org

In today’s competitive world, the availability of high-speed broadband is essential for communities and regions hoping to establish and retain an economic base.  High-speed broadband allows rural regions to participate fully in the exchange of information on the same basis as larger cities throughout the country, creating jobs and opportunities once confined to larger urban areas.  Northern New England deserves those same opportunities for job growth and development that other areas of the country now enjoy.

The proposed deal between Verizon and Fairpoint Communications is anything but a good deal for consumers in northern New England.  If we want to have access to high-speed broadband that is essential for job growth and economic development in our region, we need to stand up and shout NO DEAL!
