Okay, I know there is, like, probably tons of these kind of crappy questions all over the Internet. I’ve tried looking up questions that we’re similar to my own. Evidently, I’ve failed because this led me to make my own question =P

Anyway, okay, I’m 13. I’m an 8th grader. My school is in this STEREOTYPE phase. Tons of my friends know what their stereotype is & its totally true. Except for me. We discussed it like a lot of times & I can never find a good stereotype that fits me. I fit into a LOT of the categories & I’m curious on what that means. Please not that we’re new to this & we’re not making this a big deal. It just kills me knowing that I don’t really have a firm spot in this whole thing.

Okay, so here is the problem:
I LOVE BLACK. Like, absolutely. Red, Silver & anything ‘dark’. I love Hot Topic, Spencers & just anything scary. I love Halloween, love going on the computer & just loveee wearing converse. I listen to Screamo. So thats when my friends start labeling me as an EMO. Thankfully, I don’t cut myself.

I love chains! Studded belts & stuff like that. I think they’re super cool & I wear them when I can (School = Has uniform policy). I wear dark clothes, I can’t stand pink too often. I love listening to Metal, especially Death Metal. Some friends therefore think I’m GOTH.

I talk a lot & tons of friends. I text regularly on my iPhone. My father is a doctor & I’m spoiled, sadly. I shop at Hollister, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom & everything I own in my closet is mainly designer. I <3 Prada & various other designers (LV, Chanel etc). My friends think I’m a PREP.

I love being the center of attention. I’m a real actress & just love the spotlight on me. I’m hyper, active & energetic. Friends think I’m a Scene.

I play soccer for my schools varsity team. I’m not that much a good player, but my friends call me a JOCK.

I’m regularly a straight A student. I’m not perfect, though. I sometimes slip up and end up with B+’s. I attend a private school & getting in there is pretty hard. So my friends think I’m a NERD (Meanies)

OKAY, I’m not saying that I shouldn’t love myself for who I am. I LOVE MYSELF (: I love me for… me. I’m just curious about what others think. I know others think different things from a different way & stuff. I’m just CURIOUS. I don’t care what my label is, I just want one. (Haha, I sound desperate, sorry!)

Well, I’d appreciate what you think I would be LABLED as. Plus an explanation on why you’d label me as that.
Or, some other advice that I might find helpful.

Hot Topic is great in the store, but where can you get alot of stuff (I’m a girl so gil apparel would be nice, yet uncommon on the hot topic site). I love bands like Shiny Toy Guns, The Who, The Ramones, Rise Against, The Almost, Crystal Castles, AFI, Paramore, The Devil Wears Prada, etc. and I would really like hoodies, t’s, totes, etc.

　ボローニャ国際児童図書展はイタリア・ボローニャで毎年開催される児童文学や絵本の見本市だ。（規定等はwikipediaが詳しい。）併設されるボローニャ国際絵本原画展は絵本の原画5点で応募することが可能であり、新人イラストレーターの登竜門となっている。受賞作品は各国での巡回展にて見ることが出来る。かねてより興味があったので板橋区美術館で2011/7/2⇢8/14の間やっていた巡回展に行って来た。

　ボローニャ国際絵本原画展は1967年に始まり、今回で45回目の開催となる。58カ国2836作品の応募があり入選作品は76作品だった。さらに2010年度よりボローニャ・ブックフェアとスペインSM財団による共同企画として国際イラストレーション賞（ボローニャSM出版賞）という賞が新設された。これはボローニャ国際絵本原画展入選作家の中から35歳以下の者に授与される。受賞者は賞金30,000ドルに加えSM出版から絵本を出版する権利、翌年のボローニャ・ブックフェアで新作絵本が発表される権利が与えられる。第一回の受賞者はフィリップ・ジョルダーノPhilip Giordano（関連記事）。驚いたことに新作絵本のテーマは「かぐや姫」だった。日本人ならば誰もが知っている昔話なのに、彼の手にかかると全く新しい物語に見える。かぐや姫と五人の王子、それぞれの解釈が面白くて、新鮮だ。古典を書き直す、という作業はお芝居においてもよく行われるが、絵本的な手法と演劇的な手法の違いについていろいろ考えさせられた。この話はいずれ別の記事としてまとめたい。

　絵と文章が互いに影響しあい、生命力を帯びてくる。絵本を読む体験はなんとなく音楽に似ている。キャラクターだと思っていた記号がただの図像になったり、文章によって別の意味が暗示されたりする。今回の展示はあくまで「原画展」であり、文章はついていない。（キャプションが少しの情報を与えてくれるが…。）絵だけ見ても、どんな話なのかさっぱりわからない。それは絵本として出版されたものを買うか、想像するしか無い。だけど展示されている受賞作品はもれなく、まさに絵本でしか体験できない想像力のFRONTIERへ僕を導いてくれる。

いよいよ明日明後日と北海道のビッグレッドファームでラフィアンツアーです。快晴でしかも北海道らしく涼しい気候ということで過ごしやすそうです。

出資候補は以前の記事にも書いたように何頭かに絞れてはきたのですが、まだ決定的ではありません。じっくりと悩んでこようと思います。

昨年のツアーでは愛馬4頭とも牧場にはいなかったのですが、今年は明和にヴォヤージ、真歌にパティとメガロスがいるので会ってきます。

ツアーは日曜日で終わりですが、月曜日にも札幌近郊をブラブラします。昨年も行ったのですがまた円山動物園にでも行こうかと思っています。帰ってきてからツアーのことをブログに書こうと思います。
